Greetings my friends, please let me relate to you how a very interesting grouping came into my hands. There is a young couple in our Church here in Hawaii who is preparing to get married early next month, because of the distance that their families must travel and the high cost of housing here, it was noted that if anyone would be willing to house some of these visiting family members in a spare room or something, it would be greatly appreciated. My wife and I have plenty of extra space, so we agreed to let someone stay with us. Our guest is a gentleman from Germany named Jack D. Anyway, this grouping was given to him by his step-father and belonged to his father--so it was Jack's Step-Grandfather's. The grouping is named to a Major J.A.G. Ringwood, commander of the 60th Artillery Battery CFA. When Jack learned of my interest in militaria, he told me he would bring me a gift when he arrived. I have posted this grouping in detail in the appropriate forum, but since it is a collection unto itself, thought I would share it here as well. If you like, please follow the link below and take a look at this officer grouping.
