Is the helmet under the SS cover a SS helmet as well? Very impressive! I have 2 m42 SS helmets but would love a M40 one. Look'n GOOD!

I was wondering...do you find all your pieces locally? How easy is it to find original items in Italy these days? I would think by now it has been picked clean?! Of course, items can still appear out of the woodwork but generally, is it easy to find things, especially WSS?

Bryan,the helmet under the SS cover is one police M40

Richard,in these days is very very hard to find original SS stuff especially in the militaria fairs but there are many old collectors here with very good items.
I have found the greater part of my collection here in Italy .
