    Sebastian's Display and storage

This is sort of a current but “before” shot at my displays since I am in the middle stages of a building a custom cabinet. At my last place my office (or “Man Room” as Andy would say) was rather small so my display case/bookshelf was small. I’m still using that little one (I built it) plus some bought cases that are on the wall, but now have a lot of empty room which I plan to use in the future. Anyway, here are some shots,

Stuff that didn't fit on the wall or cabinet case gets stored in cases like this...

Actually, I will start another thread with some groups later, so for now just this one for Frank (who inspired me to catalog my collection).

Seba - do you know how many tunics I could 'dress' with all that.

All joking aside - very nice. I'm cataloging my stuff too, but am using the 321 Collect computer program. No paper.

Seba very nicely displayed, is the RK with oaks and swords real? Do you know who the recipient was?

                      Regards

Wonderful collection and display, Seba, but what is that Bulgarian Star doing in there with the Third Reich items?

                          Marvellous collection, Seba
You will have to build a large cabinet if you want them all to fit in

                            Dear Seba,

It´s great to see that archive concept live on in slightly different forms! Thanks for sharing.

I am also happy to see my little EK/Hindenburg/wound badge stickpin combo sleeps now well with its new friends.

Can´t wait to finish my display cases and show it to you all here for opinions. I am obsessed with presentation and believe that the most humble collection can also shine when displayed properly.

I can tell you so much already. My girlfriend does not like my new presentation cases and calls them the "vampire sarcophagi".
Now that is a GOOD sign, exactly what I intended!

A man´s room is a man´s room anyway and should not be "chick-compatible"

Hm, maybe it will impress OTHER chicks than the girlfriend. That would be ok. By looking so "manly". But one´s own girlfirend cannot appreciate that anymore. Isn´t it a strange world?

Sorry for drifting away, back to drilling holes! Count Dracula, here I come!

                            Cheers, Frank H.
                            Cheers, Frank

Nice display and the storage doesn't look too shabby either!
