    Sweet

It's nice to see all your goodies there Greg. Folks, I gotta tell ya' that Imperial EK1 screwback is amazing. The backing goes on so smooth you barely notice at all. It is in amazing shape considering the age and what it must have "seen" in it's time. Thanks for letting me handle it at the show Greg.....and I'll be waiting patiently for you to get bored of it.
By the way, Is that an M40 or 42 helmet?

Very nicely displayed Greg and a good variety and mixture of EK’s you have there. Thanks for sharing. Is the ribbon on the non-combatant 1914 EK repo?

Thanks guys. The helmet is a SD M40 it is one of the first items I purchased in my collection.

Hey Dez, the ribbon is real. I did the blacklight test and compared to other ribbons both real and fake and it has that feel the older ribbons have.

Thanks Frank, the "2" marked ek has become my quest. Please let me know what you turn up.

                Question

did you reverse the makers 65 and 26 when identifying them from top to bottom??I question because I thought that the 26 came in the square push botton box?..

VonLuger, good eye! You are correct I did reverse the makers. 26 is on the bottom row center and its the 65 on the top row center.

                    Hi Greg
Just one more question, on the 1870 EK 2 with 1914 bar does the ribbon have holes were the oaks once were? Just curious as a set should be there.
You have a very nice collection by the way, which is your favourite piece?

Hey Dez, your right the 1870 EKII does have holes in the ribbon. I only suspect it is where a jubilee must have been. Unfortunately I don't have a jubilee My favorite is the two 1870 EKII's I just love the quality and the history they have. My favorite EKI is the L/52 1914 screwback. It still has some frosting and the screw fits like a glove. Great piece!!!
