Here some pictures of my new collection room.
Mostly flak and Luftwaffe ground items here. But i also collec US, French 1940 and British Raj army.
Here two french soldiers in winter 1944-1945, left an Lieutenant of the colonial troops, right a combat medic.

Hello, thank you. Yes they are left october 1942 and right march 1942 from the Varga Esquire calendar. I have also the july, but unframed.
Varga is one my favourite pinup designer with Gil Elvgren.

Very cool. As an aside for everyone who cares about pin ups. Pre 1945 Elvgren pin ups are signed with a block type letters and 1945 onward he worked for a different company and signed his work with a cursive signature. An easy way to tell wartime to postwar Elvgren works.

A nice book about his work was published by Taschen, and another about Vargas " The war years".
