It's possibile to have some pictures under sweatband and in the both edges of vulkanfiber visor just to note if it was refitted.

The eagle is a Wagner but I'll wait for others to comment further on it.

            Pinched

Is the fabric pinched together at this point. If it is, consider that the kiss of death. Also, not a big fan of visors without checkering.

There are some un-answered questions, but from these pics I like it more than I don't.

does that mean a re-banded Heer cap?

Pls Show more Detail photos when the sweet Band is folded up. Not sure from where on the shown lädt stamp photo those two different stitching lines are from, visor & sweatband or put together signs?

Sorry everyone for the delay. I was out.

The sweat-band is definitely re-stiched in modern days. Good knows why.
The story of this cap is that it was sold in the 70s in Austria for next to nothing. The owner got it re-stiched like this.

                            Sweat Band

I see plenty of open stitch holes in the sweat band. That's not a good sign, sorry.
Also, I asked if the fabric was pinched in the front portion of the hat? It is pinched? Please see my post #6.

I uploaded a close-up which shows it has not.

                              Thanks
