Kriegsmarine metal eagle

This week I bought this metal eagle and I was told it is an eagle from the Kriegsmarine. It looked ok to me and it is marked. Could someone please give me more info about this one.

It's a good anodized aluminum metal breast eagle for the summer uniform, made and marked by Maedicke, Berlin.

As Norm has said very nice 2nd pattern (IMO) gold summer eagle by J. C. Maedicke in anodized aluminum and great pictures too!

Mädicke would be a correct alternative spelling for Maedicke although I don't recall ever seeing a label or marking with the "Mädicke" spelling?

Just like Brueninghaus could be spelled Brüninghaus if one felt so inclined, but the preferred spelling at the time was Brueninghaus.

Have you seen "Mädicke" somewhere?

no Norm, was more of a basic question and thank you for your help. Just wanted to know if I could search for products from the company with a different spelling but if Maedicke is how they spelled it back in the day that's fine!
