Thanks to both of you. I always appreciate the opinion of "elder brothers".

I was afraid that this one will gone, and as they are soooo rare I decide to throw the dice and... Voila!

The price was high, but just as with my periscope and some other items, no sense in putting a price tag on so rare items (this one costed more than periscope, but still less than the white one on Weitze's site) .

It's worth as much as we're willing to pay. It was a question between this one or a few nice badges, and the decision was easy.

Not to mention that other three patches are mint, and I just love them. They're worth 100 GBP alone in this state ;-)...

I'm really happy because of this one. I'll sleep well, I'm sure.

No, you didn't made me pay more.
I always decide the maximum before I start, so now I fixed it to 1kGBP + securement, which is just to go beyond the round number, usually 5-20 money units (GBP, US$, Eur...) .

I just sold a few items I don't need, so I had space to make it so high. This is the only one I ever saw for sale, so I thought it's worth.

And someone was above 1k, also (so, I'm not the only madman out there)...

In fact he is.

I offered him 200 GBP to sell directly, but he refused, saying that he doesn't know about the insignia and want it to bid till the end.

I told him that he might be surprised with the final price, and he told me after I won that he is really surprised.

I explained him about the really super rare insignia...

Now I am making a special display for this one... Tomorrow I'm buying a frame and UV-protection glass :-)
