The COA is from Detlef Niemann

That "piece" does not look like the ones I have seen and handled. And I handled quite a few genuine ones.
I certainly hope that the "Expertise" from Niemann is a fake ... If that is a good expertise from Niemann, well ....

Dietrich as I wondered on a thread in Luft medals section, heres a link. http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=427065 what good is a Niemann COA at this point? So a bad piece with a worthlees piece of paper? reading the first post in the linked thread one would think Carston is backing these old COA's which I think is unbelievable!
          Regards!

do his expertise documents not normally have a hologram instead of that stamp---was a time when you just had to worry about fake medals etc.

I noticed almost/all of Niemanns CoA with text at the end: "Toleranzen sind moghlich" are faked. I already discuss this with Detlev and he confirmed. Many of these certificates are for sell in europe these days.

                A fake set!

I doubt Niemann wrote that COA.

Let´s imagine you had a diamond set... Would you sell it at Militaria321???

I also have a document that shows that Detlev Niemann is not taking any chances on originality

Hi Nick, I think DN used to have the stamp earlier, and later changed it to the hologram when crooks started to copy the stamped versions.

This set is so obvious fake that Detlev woudn't even write a COA to say it's fake...

wy not just ask Detlef Niemann ,,,he keeps copy's off every expertise in his files ...

                          maybe better then just guess
