    Round 3 EK2 maker comparison

    A chalange :
    regarding these Round 3 EK2s 1 or 2 types ? Have a few questions :
4 different crosses with what appears to be the same core used .
    A - B - C - D : with core on D additionaly having been reworked - Swastika now on a pedistal .
The question is : the inside corners - some variation of the dominant inside 4corner last 2 beads ??? Now : just wear, touched up or do we actually have 2 different frame dies with using the same core ???
Is there a maker known to these Round 3 EK2s ???

    Regards Douglas

Douglas, IMO I see two different frames and also cores, The three in the date on cross D looks different to my eye also besides the Swastika on pedistel.
            I wonder what others think?

              Hi Douglas

Does not look like the D-cross has the stippled core? Never saw a round 3 "plateau swastika" without the stippled core before. The only marked standard ek2 i saw that has the "plateau swastika" is Gustav Brehmer #13, but those do not seem to match the round 3's in any way. Is the A-cross a "thick version"?

These are the only pictures I have .
I would say 2 different frames but the same core . The core die in D to me looks like a re-worked die with a new surface .
