I want to post this jacket here first for your comments before it goes to the e-stand. The reason is not to generate interest but to discuss an interesting feature: it is double size marked. Does anyone have anything with a similar feature?

I owned a triple size marked ost truppen uniform not too long ago which was a modified Dutch tunic, now owned by another WAF member. The strange thing was that it was not size modified so all 3 size stamps were the same (identical..) So just some bored factory worker having fun with an ink stamp I guess... It was 100% original and even had Russian museum property stamps in it!
So it was done but more commonly when resized, so the stamps differed as the size changed...or when repairs were made...giving it a new depot issuance origin...

Hi Albert, I have in my collection a modified ss assault gun wrap with double size markings. Was manifactured in 1943 with surplus material, wool and lining dated 1939.
