Need an opinion on this RK case pls.

Hello all.
Got this RK case last week. I think its likely to be a 57 case but there is absolutely NO glow anywhere with the black light including the cardboard around the velvet base.
The hinge is magnetic, so is the push button.
150x80x25cm.
Would like your opinion folks.

Still geting to grips on these myself.

Andrew, can you show the outer covering please - just a quick pic of the top of the case will do, I need to see the detail in the covering please.

Also for the record an eye level perspective of the catch, front on of course with the case open so we can see the 'head' of the catch.

I'l spare my thoughts just right now I think as they are more negative than good and we want to get it right of course.

Can the more conversed help me on this please ?

Yeah, its a tough one. I've taken more pics so I hope these help.
I'm slightly leaning towards 57 or repro but then the no glow with the black light is whats got me confused. Hopefully someone can solve it.

I'm of the inclination this is more bordering fake perhaps (?), but I'm realy not the best to comment on these.

THe BL is an anomaly in this instance but I know Al has a 1960's made Muller reproduction, that to dosen't glow.

That catch though reminds me of modern era fakes ; last twenty years or so, but then I confess I'm not conversant in the latter 57 'collector market' cases either - due to a computer crash I lost alot of info I had in relation to these things.

We both need a hand here Andrew.

Let me pop a link into the crosses forum for us and see what prevails from those guys.

In my opinion it is a reproduction/fake of the RK case. Not a 1957 case. The problem with the case is the button you open the case with.
