Thanks Hans! You are right: head size/shape difference is obvious (once you know)

As Tom mentions, I think the eagle's head on the Deumer marked badge has a more aggressive look. The eye appears to me to be less round and covered by the eyebrow more than in the Junckers. The tail is maybe just finished differently but certainly appears more 'square'.

Thanks for the guidance Hans. I guess like many of these things, it is much more obvious when you have the two side by side.

Nice detail photos! Yours is an all parts Juncker badge, and thats nice! All Deumer parts badges are a bit hard to find, to say the least, but not impossible. As said there are clear detail differences between the Deumer Juncker parts badge and the all Deumer parts badge. Wreaths are easy to separate, but the eagles are also clearly different.

Here is my true Deumer parts badge, and it took quite a few years get it. But it can be done Deumers are my favs and I do collet them.

Cheers and congratulations on a nice find

I agree that heads look a bit different because of different picture angles, wear, finish but to me, head proportions (in relation to eagle body) and claws are the same in all cases and different from Deumer dies in comparative pictures posted by Hans & Felix down to the "Juncker cut" on outer right claw/talon which Deumer didnt do judging from Felix's pictures

                        Hi Tim
In addition to the features already mentioned. Also the the right wing feathers help identify the eagle
