Be carefull
Hi Ray
<OAs a collector of ammo pouches I like to ask you for the specific name punched on the rear side.<O
Reason:
<OOriginal early 3 Reich all have sewing and aluminium fittings. Later all can be mixed rivets and steel fittings, but with all kind of mixed up executions.<O></O>
After the war the young BW need equipment, they got some new ammo pouches made from some of the well-known leathers makers. <O></O>
Carl Ackva from Bad Kreutznach was one, but a little speciality arose here regarding the firm name.
Prewar and wartime pouch are named Carl Ackva Lederfabrik Bad Kreutznach.
Postwar pouch are named Carl Ackva Lederwaren Bad Kreutznach.
So be very carefull they are a postwar manufacture real and original but from around 1950-1960.
