Marked "20" inside, 4 rivets, called "light" version
This firm was one of the most prolific manufacturers of the German Cross in Gold. Its early pieces were very heavy, exceeding 60gr and featured tombak or nickel outer stars.
Later examples were of light weight alloy. Both types were visually identical, using the same pin fittings, and inevitably, hollow rivets.
Note the pin/hinge fittings are attached to the surface and not recessed. The firms mark "20" is stamped on the under surface of the pin.
The example illustrated immediately below is one of the early, heavy types. That below it is of the later, lightweight type.
