    Map Measuring Device

Hi Folks: I don't know what attracts me to these but I recently picked this map measuring device at a German flea market. I don't know if it's WWII but this is my 7th or 8th one. This one is different from the others....since it has a wheel where the user can reset the gauge to zero (0). I don't see any markings.... These are called "Kurvmesser, Opisometer, curvimeter, meilograph, or map measurer"

When I was in Dresden...I found two (2) that appear to be made in E. Germany

I don't know how you can tell WWII period German map measuring devices. Can anyone assist? Thanks,

Here are some pictures of the ones I own...

The two (2) top-right plastic (Cheap) gauges are the E. German
The bottom right on box is Swiss made...one sided
The top left on sim-leather blue case has a compass on the back (German)
The bottom left w/leather case has a pencil tip (German)
The other two center gauges are German
