2 sets of boots are they good?

While I agree with you that the heels on the subject boots are incorrect, I disagree that rubber wasn't used on wartime military footgear.

The attached pics show a pair of Gebirgsjager boots that were tested by the 5th Mountain Div in Italy the last year of the war. They have removable rubber soles.The PICS came from a US Army Wartime intelligence report.

Ok, thank youfor the input. Now the rubber heel is incorrect (maybe someone war them after the war)but what about the boot itself???
