            I never see yellow coolour inside mask canister like this, never, even in little case. In some discusions it was every time marked like post war work...

                  looks good ,no way to tell if this was painted in 1944 or 1955 ,i would not think to much abaut and will be happy to own this one on display.

                        100% agreement. Sometimes you can see remnants of spray camo inside (example of a Luftwaffe blue colour) but never ever they totally camoed the inside.

                          Would like to separate the inside paint from the outside paint for comments.

                          Inside paint: The inside of the can looks like I would expect it to IF the can was painted that color at the factory, although the liner appears to be steel, not aluminum. Not seeing any kind of masking line between the liner and the inside of the can. Is there any evidence that cans were ever painted anything but darkish green from the factory?

                          Outside: There are MAJOR paint runs shown in pics 3 and 7, which I would not expect to see in a factory paint job, but are probably common in cans repainted with brushes. Also not seeing ANY sign of dark green under that tan paint, which would be expected in an over paint.
