    German Compass???

I got this in a lot buy of German items. I assume it is German also, but am not positive.
If anyone could shed some light on this object, it would be greatly appreciated.
    1> is it german?
2> if so, is it WW2?
    3> what is it worth?
    Thanks,

        Scott,

Yes this is a German WWII field compass. I sold an identical one (with the same MM) on ebay for $40. I have seen them for sale before for about the same price.

Have a good time at the Pikesville show. I wont be able to make it as we are leaving for vacation on Fri. let me know if you get anything good.

Yes, definately German WW2 issue. Has the bakelite makers and construction code and is marked to 6400 mils on the "dial". Allied compasses were not metric, so used degrees. Nice one.
