Hello there, not much to say about this HRE 45 canteen variant, it's already well documented on Wehrmacht-awards! I don't have other examples for HRE cup marked like this late model. I don’t think so that they were marked before (HRE 41, 42). Before 1945, those cups were painted with light green color, but I don’t think there are any markings beneath the paint. This cup is marked on both side HRE45. Thanks for helping. Maybe somebody have a clue. All the bst.
