K98 Bayonet

Hi guys!

So I also posted on 4chan to see if I could recieve some help from 'em, but I got nothing clear.

Today I was walking around Barcelona and I found a very old shop where they were selling bayonets. As long as I saw them, I took photos and I asked for some help. Finally, I bought a bayonet which looked like a K98 to me. It has several serial numbers.

Serial numbers of the bayonet:

On the one side: 3493 ( with an ''a'' under the serial nº )
On the other side: 43 ddl
On the top of the handle: NBA 537 ( I guess ).

Serial numbers of the scabbard:

I think the scabbar doesn't belong to that bayonet itself because it has different serial numbers:

One side: 4016 ( with a ''y'' written below with a beautiful calligraphy )
On the other side: W.K.C 1940.

Looks good, good bayonet for WH display. It's not NAB but WaA for WaffenAmt, an inspector stamp.

Nice! Do the screws look original to you? Someone told me they weren't.

Yep, the bayo looks original but it is difficult to say if the screws are, from those pics. The scabbard would not be original to the bayo.

As is stated, these is original K98 combat bayonet - produced by Jos. Corts during early 1943.
Bayonet scabbard is produced WKC Solingen during 1940.
