Sorry but this particular example is not orginal IMO ( no chance - too many things says no about this pouch).

Never seen one like this one before. I know 4-5 different models but this one is a new for me. IMO, this is a fake made from original material washed and re washed to look old but it shows no evidence of wear. Have you took a look inside ? Any evidence of a GL which stayed inside during a long time ?

Have a look at the end of this page and now look at the one I presented here. In fact they are the same but somebody changed the closing strap (buckle part) because the one of the fake was too easy to detect! Look at the second pic (from the bottom) I posted, you can see some traces of an old seam.
They just changed the closing system for the fake not to be detected IMHO!

Some months ago, a lot of this never existing version of the grenade launcher pouch appears on 'the market'. Some sellers tried to sale them as a DAK model or late war model (because of the red line on the web).

Just forget it (and good point regarding the old seam traces !!)

To be more precise; the web/cloth grenade launcher pouches EXIST and were used during war but are extremely rare.
The one shwon here in this thread is NOT ORGINAL but simply repro/fake having not too much to do with original web/cloth pouch.

Yes, web versions do exist and they are indeed rare. It took me more than 20 years to grab a green web one.
