    Wooden shoes - Opinions please

    Hello,

    today I got this wooden shoes.
    They have no stamps or markings. Are they postwar working boots?

    Please let me hear your opinions!

    According to what I have learnt in the forum...it could be pre, post and war time, so won't help much to determine if good, sorry.

          The wooden soles are very similar to the wachstiefel overshoes.

            Boots.

            For me it's civilian, wooden soles are due to lack of leather. In France farmers wear at this time wooden shoes and army have the galoches in leather and wood sole the galoche modele 1937.
