    K98 sling question 1942 dated

    I got this sling I wanted to make sure it is original. I got it off of very nice k98, but I did not get it from a vet so I just wanted to make sure.

                  Any markings on the sling or buckle?

                  Can you make out what's printed above 42 on the Frosch?
