    SS stamped MG gunner's pouch

    Hi Guys,

I got a cool piece here, I think haha.
It's a MG Gunner's belt pouch. It's in absolute mint condition and SS Stamped on the strap.

Let me know what you think.

    Thnx in advance.

I believe this model is original, late war simplified model, without interior fittings. About the stamp...there is some controversy.

Can you show some inside pics?

10 years ago I had a P38-holster out of the woodwork, with identical tiny SS-markings.

No, I sold it the next day at a belgian show. Markings were very worn off, but still visible.

Well, all of this kind seem to be made of that different cardboard like presstoff, void of any fitting and some marked with that SS stamp and WaA815. Curiously they are all mint, they have been considered original (or at least those stamped with the Capama 1944 inside) but the SS and WaA815 stamps are thought to be fake stamps. Can't say more.

                          Sorry guys,

I found this "old" thread by chance; but is this SS stamp really considered original??

SS in a diamond together with a WaA?

Completely different from all SS original markings, and also similar in diamond style like the fake SS diamond stamp found in fake ss buckles...

                          Only for my curiosity

                          Best

No, if you real well the SS stamp is considered fake but the pouches are generally considered good.
