    MG08 camo amo box

    Hi,

    I have come across this amo box in a site, its a camo one. But cant say about the camo, no more pics to show here. The price is 125 E/ 115 USd aprox.

    What do you think?

        Thats a toolbox, those surfaced app. 20 years in large numbers in france, and were sold everywhere (bought some at a museum near Calais)

          I believe this one is Portuguese contract box, dated 1938 and three tone camo. I have an identical one. If not mistaken they came with oils and petrol cans inside. see this other thread:

                              If you look closely are there any indications of the thin metal divider that may have been inside? Certainly the Imperial German WWI pattern is a 500 rd ammo box, holding 2 x 250 rd ammo belts. Only after WWI did people remove the metal divider and you have a great tool/storage box.
