What do I have here ? Leather protectors 1934 marked

Hi all,

have you seen these kind of leather protectors before ? Iam not realy sure if they are made from military scrap material after the war or if it is something early unseen...
There are different makers and all leather tips are dated 1934.
Any ideas ?

I believe these are made from scrap material, not mass-produced items.

Thanks to all so far. Yes, all the thongues are marked with 1934 though different makers. Therefore I thought towards an issue item (different maker names)

Perhaps it was some kind of protector produced locally, by some unit tailor, in very early period as the straps are all dated 1934. I know protectors were used when they went on shooting practice. What are the measurements?
