    Lenchtpistolen Patronentasche

    Dear all,

I have been tricked a long time ago with one ammo pouch for flare guns... I thought I was buying a ww2 one (black presstoff, large model) and got a Bundeswehr one... so now I am more suspicious.

This one looks like a good ww2 example...

Can you please help me and tell your opinions ?

The fact that it misses its side rings for the strap does not disturb me.

            Thanks for your inputs.

how does the Bundeswehr version looks like? I'm searching for a BW one for some time but can't seem to locate one, might be handy to actually know how it looks in the first place.

                        Hi Uncle Goose,
firstly, the BW version (the large one) is in full leather instead of Presstoff.
Then, the cover is riveted to the pouch on the BW one, it should be sewn on ww2 genuine one.

Here an old picture I found in the web :

Nice pouch overall, sadly the cloth tabs with the steel D-rings for the shoulder strap have been removed.

Indeed, this is the main drawback with this pouch. Though, I have a few restauration ideas. The pouch is still on the way, I will see when it comes.
