    Unused bread bag

Here are some pictures of my unused bread bag. Shoulder strap and bread bag is produced by the same manufacturer. Hope you like it.

Quite a beauty, with the matching stamps. Does anyone know....is this type (with the wide strap) a KM bag, or just a variation? I heard that said....bu never confirmed by anyone.

Great colour. Strap looks sim. width to training id band for helm., so still poss to use it on a helmet. Maybe navy, or bb for paramilitary use... ?

Definately not paramilitary use; army or navy. Very nice minty breadbag. Intresting to see pis skin reinforcments on breadbag loops. What is the date ? 1941 or 1944 ?

It cannot be 1944, as leather reinforcements were not added anymore by then.

Is the hardware aluminium or zinc ?

I know that but date looks more 1944 than 1941 and that's why I have asked about it. It would very unusual to see 1944 dated breadbag with leather reinforcemnt which have been discountinued in early 1943.

Thanks for nice comments and Input

The hard wire on the bread bag is in aluminium and the buckles on the strap is in zinc. And it looks like it is marked 1944.
Here are some more detailed photos.

From closer look it seems to be 1942 not 1944. The hook is not zinc but galvanized steel ( steel covered with protective coat of zinc ).
