K98 ammo pouch SS

A nice worn K98 pouch with an SS marking on the reverse for review. Is this in fact an SS one ?

IMO not period SS stamp; look on the cracks around the stamp ( obvious made when leather was already dried ).

I fully agree - and not consistent with known SS-marked pouches.
