Hi, I have found these two pictures of some cutaway description of MG belt loader, but both are in bad condition. Anyone has better picture or at least knows what was written in the middle part?

compare: I think it reads something like:

K.G.H. 38 Lagerung des Gu[rtfü]llers 34 im [ei]n Kasten f. M.G. ...perhaps. that would translate as "storage of beltfillers 34 in a box for MG"

That's a nice pic I imagine it could also fit. For sure more members might have one of these boxes... Come on! let's see who can complete the text!.

That's a great idea.

Yes there is a G only on one side. It is an aluminium box and paint is missing on most of it so it might have lost the G on the cover. It might be ordenance blue turned black. It seems to happen with many alu boxes.

Have a look at page 564 in Volke Myrvang's Vol 2 "From the MG08 to the MG3".
The text in the middle starts "K 997.38" otherwise you've got the rest spot on!

I haven't got that one yet...Hope I will soon.

It's true, instead of K gH 38 it should be K 997 38. but what do the numbers mean?

Hi,

Very impressed with the label inside the recently-shown Gurtfuller 34 tin.

Has anyone got a workable link to that printable version in the above thread?

I couldn't take advantage of it at the time and it appears the original link is now lost.
