Hi, I have picked up the followig cans dated 1936 and 1941.

I would appreciate some help with identification.

Here you've got another one: The blue one is for petrol and the yellow is for oil.

I paid a little more than I would have, ordinarily, for these.

Firstly the hunch that they were something special and secondly because they were a pair.
