I have been doing some research and coming up short on this subject
What is the proper magazine pouch that would have been used by Wehrmacht Heer troops in 39/40 that were carrying the MP34(o)?
I have a wonderfully restored Mp34, and am trying to set up a display with my other early war equipment for a Heer Soldat.
I of course have 2 of the generic leather pouches that seem to pop up everywhere, but from what i have read these seem to be the later Portuguese pouches.
I have seen different leather pouches as well which seem to have been Austrian police issued, but not sure if these went to Heer soldiers.
Also, I have heard that Heer troops used a modified version of the standard Mp38/40 pouch, anyone have any photo examples of this?
Any help is appreciated with helping put this display together
