    Zeltbahn Question???

I have been looking at buying some Zelts but I need some help. I currently own one Zelt which is marked 1945. I am looking to buy one that is marked 39 or 41. The Zelts all have maker marks and look outstanding. They also have big white numbers across each Zelt. What are these numbers for? Here is the link:

Is there also a date which is better to have?
    Thanks,
    Eric

    Eric,

The zelts offered by Ben are all original. The white text says indeed 'DRK Herzebrock' ( Not DAK!) .

Herzebrock is a village in Germany at 50 east of the city of Münster. DRK stands for Deutsches Rotes Kreuz. IMO, those zeltbahns are postwar issued to the DRK of that particular village.

    Cheers
