I Want To Thank All My Friends Here At The Forum

G'day all,
many of you know that I've been suspended a few days because I clashed against someone or something;I've been notified the reasons why that has happened and that sounded good enough to me...I had faced a B-17 with my little FIAT G-50 and went down in flames!
I'm still registered as an Association Member while in fact I cannot post pictures my friends have asked for and my PMs are reduced to 60 and that's what's important to me...the e-stand could be fun but not that vital after all!
What has happened has been some sort of warning to mind my Ps and Qs,and that may sound fair enough too,since I've got this nasty habit of speaking my mind out at the cost of being harsh or unpleasant(but ALWAYS loyal in return!) I'm now convinced that the slightest"glitch"would have me walk the plank before I couls say"Oh",so I reckon I better leave now this wonderful family which has kept me company for more that seven beautiful months and which has given me the chance to meet wonderful people(EACH AND EVERY ONE...BAR NONE!.....well...sort of...we all remember "theamber"!) which I regret they're not my neighbors or colleagues and who I'll miss big time!
This decision will make a few people happy and that will make me even happier for them...to the other ones(which are amongs the best friends I've ever met in my whole life) I'll say to enjoy this beautiful Forum,which is by far THE VERY BEST and to feel free to email me if they think I may be of help or even to say "Hallo"!

I'm sure you have put a lot of thought into your reasons for leaving, and i suspect that once your mind is made up over a matter of principle it will not be changed...
However, i'm sure you would expect me to ask you to reconsider. So i am.
A forum is only the sum of it's parts. It's fine to celebrate that this forum has 5000 registered members,but quantity and quality are radically different things. In my own humble opinion, if you are adamant that you wish to leave then the equipment section of the forum especially will be considerably poorer without your input.
I remember the many threads where you have saved countless thousands of £'s, Euros, and $'s for your fellow members via information you have supplied on footwear, uniforms, equipment etc.

To think that you have taken this decision due to a restriction on picture posting and a reduction of PM's is particularly depressing. I hope this is simply an oversight from when your account was reactivated, and not some form of additional parole. But i can understand the frustration must be huge.

As i have said, i imagine that your mind is made up on this, but i had to give it a try...thanks for the help, time and effort you have put into helping myself and others.

Is there any possibility to think it over? Maybe I will sent you a e-mail in the future if I have some questions about German footwear or tunics. If this is allowed ofcourse.

Did they put a restriction on your possibility to put pictures on the forum and to receive ant sent PM'S? Why?? This smells like censorship to me.

I just wanna say I don't get it??? I can't understand how, when and where you possibly could have insulted someone simply by speaking up!! All this is a surprise to me I know I sometime are missing the point all caused by my English skills. I don't understand that many doubble meanings and sentences with meanings where you need to be very skilled to understand?? But somebody must have noticed something.

Anyway we always have an nice communication together and I apreciated a lot you direct speaking and the strait forward answering.

I guess as another here said your decission is probably final so allow me saying I truly will miss your comments.

I think I have missed something /again!/ I do not know what the case is, but whatever it is, think again! I think you are hurrying with the decision! Please, wait a little and think again... and maybe one more time again I think you are one of the very valuable members here, with your great knowledge and hot temperament... well, maybe a bit noisy, but that's what the Italians are for!
Well, I am again kidding too much. Will try to say it more serious. Please, think again. It is great to see you in the forum and I hope this will be in future. If the images are so important, I will tell you one excellent photo hosting, uploads even faster than the default image system of the WAF, and then just copy/paste the link... As for the PM's, this isn't so important too, is it? After all, this is a public forum, it does not matter at all that a few people dislike you /being they among the moderators it seems, as they have the power to put restrcitions/, as long as much more people enjoy - most of the time - you being here and sharing your great knowledge about the most smelly part of the hobby.
Well, again, I have missed the story, if you were caught to be the most dangerous WH boots faker among the Carpati and the Rockies, then go eat pizza and we will be glad not to see you around But I really think it is not something like this and really hope in future to read more of your threads written in ridiculous fontsizes!

Manny, buddy, this annoncement really suprises me. The fact that you're leaving would indeed change a lot (in a negative way) in both this and other sections of the forum.

I can only repeat what's been said so far...
The countless times that you shared your wonderfull knowlegde in dept ( even so much at a certain point that I warned you via PM ).

The help you provided to many members both online and offline. Never it was to much asked. I remembered my first PM to you, it concerned WH combatshoes, the reply I got was so detailed and friendly like we knew each-other for years. I would strongly advice to re-consider your decission, but at the end it's your's offcourse.

I really wonder what the real reason is for this?
I know your style of answering ( full emotion, a lot of smilies and with a lot of "italian flavour"), but I never noticed any insulting to be honest.

All the replies in this thread should mean something,no?

Please tell us clearly what happened !


I can’t believe that you are not allowed anymore to post pictures on this Forum because you said the truth concerning some “crooks” ! I don’t see what would be “insulting, clashing, offensive, etc,..." saying the truth.

If you can’t post pictures anymore, you certainly still can post messages and answer ? If not, I think the moderator should clarify the problem openly.
