Look at the width of the straps: ex-French Y-straps IMO.
Also the black rear belt hook looks to be of French origin.
Very strange way to connect main straps to rear ring. Two folded over pieces of leather that are originally not connected to the main straps. Never seen that before...
IMO late-war Y-straps, made with ex-French and German components.

Could you please measure the strps width as indicated on the picture ??
I guess that will help more then guessing
The width was also what made me think they are french..... plus the fact that the hooks look a little "loose"

Did some research and the backstrap comes from a french backpack
Found the article in Militaria Magazine nr 268
So I'm pretty sure the whole thing is made of french material......
