    Y strap

    I picked this up years ago and never gave it any thought. want to know if its war time or post. I cant find any markings on it. thanks Dan

              A strange set.....

              Backstrap: never seen anything like it..... main straps: very wide and the part where the become smaller is strange....

              Also the way it is connected to the O-ring is very strange...

              Construction on the stitching looks german

              No markings at all ??

              Really a strange bird, not classic Y straps

              Almost look like french Y straps , but also not the "standard" way french Y straps are rebuild to german..


              I really have no idea

                I looked pretty close for any markings I didn't see any, hope someone recognizes it.

                  These are a very nice Y-straps remade from backpack straps. I have them also in collection, also this back strap.

                          These straps definately looks like foreign re-worked straps for used in german army. Definately not german origin.

                            These are not normal backpack or tornister straps, so I am wondering what backpack they came from (if at all from a backpack)
