    Y-bars question.

    Hi
    I picked up the Y-straps, everything is ok front stripes marked RBN but the rear strap a strange, what is it?

        More than sure that ba-strap is Austrian, post-war made. Sad cause other parts of Y's are genuine and well preserved.

          So the backstrap riveted hook is what identifies that strap as post war? The backstrap of this type was never used in the war?

            No, not the riveted hook, because there are also stitched post war hooks....

            Just do a search on the forum on Y straps (and austrian backstraps) and you will find plenty of info !
