    Later war canteen for review.

Hello, here is a canteen I bought last week for your comments. No markings on the cover, the red bottle has the RbNr 0/0571/0118 stamped on it,the mug is stamped ?&CW43 can't make out the first letter and if it was issued with the canteen we will never know but it all fits together well condition wise. Regards David.

It all looks OK. My congrats on RB Numbered steel bottle! This is something that I do not have in my collection. I have seen RB Numbers on cover and straps. I have aluminium bottles with RB Numbers but for the first time I see RBN on steel bottle. Letter on cup should be C if I well remember.

What a great example!!!! I also have never seen a steel flask with a RB-Nr.

You should add this to the Canteens thread http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ad.php?t=23407

Very nice & rare Feldflasche. Did you find any interesting Zelts?

                        Regards Sonnenwende

Hi, I didn't find any that were out of the ordinary but I bought two, one that had the green a lighter shade than normal.Lots of zelts still for sale though ranging from rough at £40 to mint at about £150, spent a lot of time on my knees looking through boxes for somthing special. Plus one fake being sold as real.Regards David.

                            Canteen

Mr Zeug, The cloth on this canteen looks to be a different texture than most. Is it ? Or is it just the way it appears in the pictures. Thanks Jack
