I picked up a small pile of field gear items this year but nothing particularly special and certainly nothing as fantastic or rare as some of the very fine things that have already been shown. Here are a few of my favorite equipment and personal kit purchases from 2010, each has a special place in my collection for one reason or another- the K98 ammo pouches are my first late-war matching pair, one of the butter dishes has the glass insert, the gas mask is very complete, named and matching, etc. The honey ration jar and small milk bottle are relics from Breslau.

I already participated with a MP38/40 pouch, but what was I thinking! This is my 2010 real best addition! Mit Mercedes-Benz Voran!

All 8 of these Map Cases from one Vet family was pleasant surprise. Six were German and two were Russian made but had German names inside.

As a bonus, the strap used on Russian case is a rare WaAmt/1942 dated strap used to carry the cartridge case to a German flare gun.
