Brought out stuff to get to other stuff and thought I'd photo some of my "junk". I love collecting and love the fact that you can pick up even something common and not expensive to add to a collection but still enjoy it as much as some of the big ticket items. All this equipment is original as far as I know and has been picked up over many years. One of the cool things of note is the German map of "Belgien" which is for the area of Mons, Belgium which I think was a battlefield area for the 101st. Sorry for the quality of the pics, working on doing better.....

Thanks for all the comments! As far as the carrier goes, I was wondering about that one. It is SA marked but the shovel has a Waffenampt on it. Probably put together before I got it. It was the first shovel I got and you know how "firsts" are.....lol I'll try to get some better pics.Comment

Carles, this bed is in my 15 year old son's room. He has been surrounded by German Militaria for almost all his life. (He lives with his my ex in another county) My current wife used to go to the shows with me until our little one came along. Now I go solo. My wife has never said anything negative about my hobby, but I don't think she realized the investment value of it until I sold several items to help with the down-payment on our house. She has bought me some of the items and several times ordered me photo albums for birthdays, Christmas, etc. Life is Good!!Comment
