Looks like somebody used it as a curtain with NCO Tresse and rings to connect to a curtain rod.

Fake material or repro massively produced with this material??

I know there is several repro made with this type of camo HBT :
heer smock, luft gound troops jacket, PZ "HG" set , windbluse, helmet cover etc....

THe question is..this material is in any case post war made??

Some years ago,I have sold a 100% guenine pants in Italian gabardine
with pockets (internal parts) made with sumpftarn HBT cloth similar to this one...just a thought..

About the "stuff" showed in this thread,I don't see the interest to make it....with NCO tresse part , for a value close to zero!

Fake stuff? I'm not sure IMO it could have been made for the Bundesgrenzschutz?
          But I can be wrong....

hbt tan water-as said, a lot of nice mint stuff around for sale utilising this stuff...some people might say these items are modern made, and, stay away. a large roll of it several years ago, at the stuttgart fair, for sale. its not rocket science to run up smocks et alles in this stuff, and sell it as original. some back of the car dealers i have seen love this stuff. not for me. nco tress..id say original components, post war made curtain.

Thank you very much for your oppinon . I DO NOT like it neither . I bought it via internet auction from Czech seller. From its rear it doesn't look like a white yellow toned as usual it looks rather like pink toned.
As I know Czech made very nice repro of HBT material.

there seems some hesitancy among some forum members about this fabric...hbt material structure appears fine, though there seems to be at least two hbt tan water camos around..perhaps the questionable element is the range of items this material is used to make...suggetsing a sophisticated fake enterprise? authentic wartime material stock recently turned into 'recognized' heer items, before the financial crisis...? original hbt rolls...worked on like fury into smocks, field division jackets, helmet covers...etc, to blind trade fair vistors, wrestle their wallets into submission...? imo highly likely. although, thanks in part to the forum, many such items will continue to hang around, untrusted and unsold.

                          corporalSteiner,

yes the hbt structure looks fine from pictures, but when you handle this matterial it is diffrent then known original war time . I think it's a bit thinner and more soft. when I handle original war time hbt I feel that the material is a little more sharp.
