    No - sorry.

The writing on one of the boxes are "german letters". So maybe 30-40 or early 50... Many producers didn't change their layout after the war -So it's difficult to date.
    Maybe Jim knows something.

Have you got some period picture for me - for inspiration?

BTW - this bottle I also got. Mostly there are the small 200g vinegar bottles - this one is an 1000g bottle - like the one in your book.
I haven't found anything yet, but I have lots of files. The vinegar bottles are nice. The small ones are great for individual soldier displays. Jim

Would have held some compund for making uneven cotton easier to iron .

Quick view of what I found but I think some are post war so there have not included them in the photos above.

                            Hi David,

The Maggi soup, as well as the Lodix and Sigella cans could be wartime/pre war. The Sigella wax and Lodix polish were both manufactured by the same firm. I show similar examples in the upcoming Ruhetag book. A wartime advertisement showing similar layouts/logos as well as reichsmark pricings were used as evidence to support the possibility they were period. Again not 100% proof but without a date stamp you do the best you can. jim

Cheers Jim, as the whole lot pictured cost me less then €20 I thought it would be worth a gamble.
