Unknown leggings-German? DAK? or Para?

Hello forum...

These spats/leggings were found in an estate collection.

Below is the link I posted earlier from the first lot I bought a month ago, and the rest yesterday.

Are these German? They sorta look DAK to me... but... they could be US from WWI?

They are longer, and made differently than the common US spats that are worth $5.

They have a felt type of interior as well.

Not tropical from my experience...Can you take a clear close-up of one of the speed lacing hooks and it's inner crimping, please?
