Finally is arrived.
After three weeks of waiting finally arrived mine EBD42. It 'really very beautiful and in excellent condition, the mark is crisp and perfectly readable. I was really surprised at the color of the belt, a nice dark green!
Unfortunately the gascan is really poorly and I'll find one in better condition, of course always marked 42.
I am very satisfied with this strap

My friend who was member here long time ago said that straps marked ebd 42 exist and could be find . Than no one belived him.
I also said many times that I have seen 42 dated ebd straps, also no one trust in my words. here is the real evidence that such straps had been made in 42.

would be extremely hard if not imposible as the maker hidden under the ebd code was located in Czech republic.
ebd was Fatra AG, Napajedl / Maehren - those teritories were captured by russians in late 1944 or early 45.

v nice piece, congrats. seems completely bazaar to me for the powers that were to have approved of fake stitching on these rubber parts...to actually mold fake stitches....isnt that insane? werent there more productive ways of expending vital energy in a war?

I said so before , they do exist , since I do still have one as well ( and saw 2 more of them) and the funny thing is , it is also made a dark green rubber and not black , like seen on all the 43/44 ones . The dated 45 one , if they were even made , would indeed be the holy grail for these straps .
