Carrying strap. Not for a breadbag!?!

I have found a carrying strap on a breadbag, but it isnĀ“t a breadbag-carryingstrap. Is it a special-strap for other equipment? do now for what kind of equipment?

It must be a german strap. Typical maker stamp.

It's a carrying strap for breadbag, often related to KM.

Thanks! Never heard that there was different straps for army and KM.
I donĀ“t collect KM, so i will put on the estand with the breadbag where it belongs to.

it is definately SHORTENED wide strap for breadbag ( not necessary for KM - in pre war period used also by Heer ). Some cloth and one part is missing.

imo its a km kitbag duffel bag strap. not a bb strap. more for kit bag duffel bag type km item. imo km breadbag straps were the same as heer. sorry it isnt as pioneer satchel strap either!nice sg stamp. seen on buckle clasps etc

                  Salut,
IMO it's just an early breadbag strap, indeed frequently associated with the KM.

greater weight bearing properties to this wide strap makes the idea its km duffel bag intended fit. i know of two that were found in such a bag.

                      .

IMO early, wide breadbag strap. It's a bit modified and cut and resewn. Take a look at the modern black sewing.

I have an 1938 Breadbag with straps like this. I can put up some photos in the evening.
