oxidation seems consistent with form and premise that this is a german wh ww2 utensil of the eating variety. nice to see the chicken/Wa stamped here too.

You can still get them for $25 without the WaA. This one with the WaA markings is a little more interesting and I would pay $50 for one like this but I am sure some sellers would ask more.

I.M.H.O. WaA stamps on these are suspicious...... I'd rather take one without.... at least you are sure that it is not messed with to "increase" the value.

Not saying that this one isn't correct, but lke I said, I don't trust WaA's on these........

Tom I agree with you generally but in this specific case I have seen enough of these from this particular maker with these same stamps in this combination that I am reasonably certain that this is a good set of markings.
