        Bag

Looks like a pouch for the RGD-33 grenades. Is the pouch divided into pockets on the interior?

If the leather inside is German it could be late war or early post war Soviet... or possibly postwar Polish. German leather and canvas is not uncommon on late war and early post war Soviet gear. I have a canvas shoulder bag for DT machine gun drums that has German maker marks on the russet leater fittings along with numerous unused stitch holes in the leather due to it being recycled material.

          Mike, thank you.

It's nog for RGD grenade's. This bag is too big for them. There are no pouches inside.
I've some RGD bags in my collection. This one doesn't match construction etc.

......as cited on prior posts, metal holding bar on buckle indicates post war issue and manufacture. should be leather for ww2, as far as i know.
