MG Carry Strap/Sling?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this is. This is out of my area, but it looks like some sort of MG carry strap, although it isn't very long... any info is appreciated.

It's a sling for MG34/42. Though they may use German WW2 hardware, they are not regarded by collectors as German issue from WW2. They have been discussed on the forum before, though I cannot find the thread.

Nick is correct. I believe these were identified as postwar Austrian in that thread.

Thanks for the replies, I was surprised to hear it was post-war made, good to know though. Were the post war MG straps made with just this sort of webbing material? Or were all leather ones made, that also used the same war-time hardware.
