    Scho ka kola paper box

    hi All

    Picked up this paper scho ka kola box in Berlin this week, i guess it is a war time one as it is made of paper??

        Good observation. Its very similar to the Olympic version put out in 36.The Olympic version was the first Scho ka kola product manufactured by Hildebrand. So I think this version was introduced after the Olympics.WR Jim

          Yes I read somewhere about the Olympic one given to athletes at the games, would this be worth more or the same as the wehrmacht tins ?

            Robert,

            These are considered civilian models and bring a lot less than the Wehrmacht Packung ones, even though they are a lot rarer than the military ones. If you decide to sell it and take Paypal I would be interested in it. WR Jim

            PS I am writing a book on rations and I have a poor picture of the same item. I would love to get a good high quality picture of the front and back of yours on a clear background.               Thank you for the information regarding Scho ka kola paper box, am not selling at the moment but will contact you if I decide to sell. the book you have written sounds very interesting and like you am very interested in ration items of course am happy to send pictures to include in your book.
